Not every commission ends in a building. We are sometimes engaged earlier — before a site is purchased, or before a brief is finalised — to test whether the project as imagined can actually be built, at what cost, and within which constraints.

The output is usually a short written report and a small set of drawings. We do not bill by the hour for this work; the fee is fixed at the outset.
