Plan M1 is a small architecture practice working along the Adriatic coast and inland Montenegro. We design houses, hotels, public buildings and interiors — and the masterplans that frame them.

A working method

We draw slowly.

Every project begins with a long look at the site: its orientation, the way light falls across it through the year, the materials already present in the surrounding settlement. The design follows from that reading rather than from a fixed style.

What we care about

Restraint over expression. Buildings that improve with weather and time. Materials sourced close to where they're used. A short list of decisions, well made.
